About Dr. Laura Clevenger
Hi! I’m Dr. Laura Clevenger, ND (she/her). I am a naturopathic physician specializing in fertility for all genders and reproductive health.
I completed my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon after my own journey with chronic illness. Before medical school, I received my B.S. in Public Health at New York University and was a researcher at NYU Langone Medical Center. I intimately know the difficulties of navigating the medical system and how overwhelming, lonely, and confusing it can be. I aim to make each patient feel held and safe as they navigate the care they need. Normalizing patient experiences extends beyond the clinic and is fundamental in all aspects of my life as a daughter, sister, wife and friend.
Providing this kind of holistic care requires a balance of problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. This confluence is where I thrive. With additional training in craniosacral therapy, abdominal therapy, and neural therapy, I value the healing power of physical touch and appreciate the importance of incorporating bodywork into patient care. I also love to analyze lab work and use lifestyle changes, nutrition, and targeted supplements when appropriate. For my patients with thin uterine lining, asherman’s syndrome, chronic endometritis, recurrent implantation failure, and adenomyosis, I offer highly concentrated and activated intrauterine PRP to help improve the health and quality of the endometrium (the lining of the uterus). Dr. Stefani Hayes and myself work together to provide this therapy for patients and were the first two providers to bring intrauterine PRP to the state of Oregon.
Outside of the clinic I spend most of my time being active in nature, whether it be trail running, climbing, skiing, or cycling. After a fun day outside, I enjoy being curled up on the couch with a good book, my kittens, and my husband.
